General Medicine
Our senior consultants are ready to help with a wide range of general medical conditions such as diabetes, liver and pancreatic illnesses, respiratory conditions, vascular surgery and rheumatology. As with any specialist area of medicine, we are able to provide a fully supported approach to ensure early and accurate diagnosis and treatment, whether you are an emergency patient, or have multiple disorders, referred by your GP for investigation, or referred by other specialist services.
The services at the Centre are supported by a 24 hour Medical Admissions Unit at the Wellington Hospital which is able to cater for all emergency admissions including those requiring intensive care facilities. Upon GP or consultant referral, admission can be arranged directly by the staff at the Centre.
