The Hepatobiliary Consultants who attend the Centre from the Wellington Hospital are part of the most distinguished multidisciplinary Liver/HBP teams in Europe and are supported by the most up to date and comprehensive imaging and surgical facilities available anywhere in the United Kingdom. The Liver Unit aims to provide the best available treatment for all conditions that affect the liver, pancreas and biliary tree. We treat all manner of conditions including alcohol related problems, cancer, abscesses, and gallstones. The initials stand for, Hepato (meaning Liver), Pancreato and Biliary.
